A total of 35 participants gathered at the unique setting selected for the XVIII Edition of the Program on the Harvard Campus.The sessions took place at the Harvard Faculty Club, founded in 1920 and located on Quincy Street (Harvard University Campus, in Cambridge, MA).

Richard H. Vietor, Professor of International Political Economy and Business Administration at HBS, discussed the case study of China: The New Normal with the program participants. Félix Oberholzer-Gee, Professor of Business Administration in the Strategy Unit at Harvard Business School, shared his business insight and customer experience along with his case study Alibaba’s Taobao. The participants were also able to hear about the latest on AI through our Program Speaker Santiago Ibáñez, CEO of Bictop and MIT DELTA v MENTOR. Ana Maiques, CEO of Neuroelectrics, shared her business success story, as one of the most influential entrepreneurs under 40 in Spain (nominated by IESE). She received the EU Prize for Women Innovators from the European Commission  and was ranked one of the Fifty Most Inspiring Women in Europe. Margarita Oliva, speaker and advisory board member of this program, is a Partner at DLA Piper and gave a session on Financing Sources in the Americas, with cross-border Financial, Legal and political advice. Eugenio Briales is the Vice President of Capital Markets at Justly, Ideanomics (NASDAQ: IDEX) Executive Education Instructor, Harvard Law School Program on International Financial Systems 

The RCC at Harvard Executive Program brought together an amazing group of managers, partners and entrepreneurs from a vast variety of business sectors, such as biotechnology, consultancy,  healthcare, education or real estate among others. This diversity and excellence was also combined with a multicultural profile: Colombia, Mexico, Shanghai, Nigeria, Ghana, Spain where the countries represented among the group, giving the program the global personality it pursues and enriching participant’s networking activity.

Prof. Robert Wilkinson started off the program with his session on Negotiation and Leadership. He is a Harvard Kennedy School of Government professor. Pedro Nueno, Founder and Honorary President of CEIBS (China Europe International Business School) and member of the Advisory Board of the RCC at Harvard Executive Program, shared the Puig’s Case Study with the participants.

The participants also took part in other activities apart from the sessions, such as a guided tour of the Harvard Campus given by the Director of Media Relations in Harvard. The program not only offered participants to have a closer look at one of the most prestigious Universities in the world, and gain access to some of its professors and professionals in the cities of Cambridge and Boston, but also allowed them to work with like-minded professionals in the global market. ­

The program organizes every year a welcome reception the first day  for its participanst in a restaurant near the area at Harvard Square, and also a networking dinner organized at the Harvard Club of Boston with U.S. Professionals based in Cambridge and Boston. The program also offered an extended version, chosen by 10 participants out of 35: company visits where organized and also several one-to-one formal meetings before and during the program, tailored to the participant’s needs and professional interests. The participants visited the CIC (Cambridge Innovation Center) and Qanta Development in Somerville, both coworking offices with a lot of talent, and exchange of ideas and opportunities within their walls.
